In this article I want to show you my Universal Templar Buildthat allows you to swap between roles at will, without having to change your Attribute or Champion Points.
The Universal Templar works by allowing you to swap your gear for the role you desire to play, while still being effective. Attribute spread for this Build is extremely simple, and all Points will be placed into Magicka. This is done for a few reasons. First, when leveling up or questing you will want higher damage or it will take forever, and having high Magicka contributes to harder hitting attacks.
And third, if you want to heal then you should play a Magicka-based Build, so this prevents a setup that uses Stamina as its main Attribute.
What my stats look like before food. Champion Points are the weakest area of the Build, because any Build focused on a specific type of role and play will have increased performance simply from their allocation. However, this setup is good enough to get you through all content except Veteran Trials, and this is because of diminishing returns. Champion Points are as follows:. With this setup you get a decent mix of healing, surviveability and damage.
In addition, there are tools here for PvP in the form of Resistant, Befoul, Shade and Warlord, which are all very good to have out in Cyrodiil.
When leveling you want to spread your points around a bit in order to gain the most from each passive. Just make sure that you try to gain exact percentages, or as close as you can, as percentages after the decimal point are not applied. For example, if you have 5.
The best way to accomplish this is by using Sets that have lots of Health on them, and a bit of Stamina. It is crucial that you do this because you want to be able to gain Stamina from Shards and Orbs while on the front bar, and Magicka while on the back bar.
My Shield has Maximum Stamina Enchantment, which allows me to be just higher on Stamina, but then when I swap Weapons, to be just lower. Race is very important when getting this setup to work! This might take a bit of trial and error, but your Glyphs are the best way to control just exactly how much of each Attribute you have, if you are using these Sets. You can also Transmute the Traits on your Jewelry if necessary, and mine all have Stamina, but this can be expensive. When making any Tank one thing you do not want to worry about is Stamina Recovery.
For this reason, try to avoid gear that has this Stat on it if you can. One of the Sets I use has it, but the 5 piece bonus more than makes up for it. Templars will regain their Stamina a few ways besides Shards and Orbs. Firstly, players who wear Heavy Armor passively gain Stamina and Magicka each time they are struck by an attack, once every 4 seconds via the Constitution Skill. The amount increases with each piece of Heavy Armor, all the way up to a maximum of if you have 7 pieces equipped.
This is part of the reason we wear all Heavy Armor, as this translates to Stamina and Magicka Recovery, but works even if holding Block. Second, Repentance is a very helpful Skill for regaining Stamina when enemies around you die. However, it is very situational, and I like to use it mostly after each trash pull to top up, so that I have full Stamina on every one.Keep in mind there is a huge variety of different tank builds out there that synergize well depending on your group setup.
Remember, each Dungeon needs some small adjustments to the build. So if you for example feel that you need more health, then go for it! This particular setup that we are using is focusing on shields and healing. In addition, we are also running Brands of the Imperium to assist our group members with additional shielding to mitigate more incoming damage.
We also have the possibilities to cleanse most debuffs from us with Extended Ritual and provide our allies with a nice synergy that also allows them to cleanse negative effects. Ritual Rebirth is a healing ability that heals your group in a 10 meter radius, in case you need some more burst heals, keep in mind tho, it is very expensive to use. So our Stamina should be about higher than our Magicka pool, which means we will always get Stamina back from the Spears or the Orbs!
Also, you do not always need to permablock, so when you have time, do some heavy attacks to restore some resources! Potions are also a key to manage your resources well, use the right potions to really get the edge on your resources!
Repentance is another big thing, on trash fights you will basically always have enough resources if you use this and during boss fights sometimes there are adds that you can use Repentance on.Ramshot tac 62gr
If you still have troubles with sustain, you could also utilize Sentinel of Rkugamzif you keep Extended Ritual on the ground it basically activates on cooldown and makes your stamina sustain a lot easier. To be fully ready I recommend trying to get most of these sets and confirm with your raid leader what combinations you need them in. Lightning vs Frost Staff: You can use both options, a frost staff is better if you want to go the safe route and get all the block mitigation on the backbar as well.
The Lightning Staff is used in combination with Elemental Blockade to apply Off-Balance to the enemy, that way you can support your group and increase the overall damage output.
This beginner setup is here for people that do not have access to the other setup now. This is a slightly more advanced version that has a bit higher stats and also includes health recovery. Though it also costs more. You have to make sure to have a bit more Stamina than Magicka. Because of the Synergies you pick up give you back whatever stat is higher. You can change this to your liking, if you do not need that much health, get more stamina.

Zooming in on the summarised view should no longer distort the passive images. Applied a hotfix. Passive skills will no longer show images from other classes in summarised view when you came there using a perma-link. Made perm links a little shorter, these will be made even shorter in the near future the old links should still work though.
Finished the extra tooltip information and corrected a lot of wrong ones. Added the last missing high res images werewolf, fighter guild morphs, armor skill morphs and new aw skills. Tank: Nord is the best race for tanking because of their reduction to incoming damage and increase to stamina and health. Balanced: If you want a more well-rounded race so you can switch between multiple roles, you can pick Imperial. Healer: Breton, the reduced spell cost and high magicka pool is essential for efficient healing. Second best choice will be High Elf. Optimal Tanking: The Lord is the best stone for tanking unless you have almost 30k HP fully buffed without it, then you should switch to the Tower for the extra stamina.
Magicka Based Mundus Stones: Maximum DPS: The Thief is defiantly the way to go for magicka DPS builds, the Thief increases your critical chance which boosts your damage more than any other stone and allows you to use your ultimate more often. Optimal Healing: For healing builds you should swap mundus stones to the Atronach, the ability to consistently heal is way more important than your damage output.
Optimal Champion Points For Your Character Build Your Champion points are going to vary based on your exact build, game content you are doing, whether you are going for single target or AoE damage, and group setup.

Players gain experience from a variety of sources. Completing quests, discovering new locations and completing their Objectives, picking locks, and completing World Events also grant experience.
Experience goes towards increasing your character level, as well as increasing your rank in most of the skill lines. However, certain skill lines are not advanced by gaining experience:. Each quest grants a certain amount of experience depending on your level, which is then passed through a multiplier based on the quest's length and difficulty, which is defined internally per quest:. For example, all dungeon quests are set as "Very Hard", so reward 2.
Similarly, experience granted by completion of location Objectives is also passed through a modifier, but most of these are set as "Standard". A summary of standard rewards per level can be found below. Quests will only show the XP Gain category without a value, since the value is dependent on your level.

Is my greatsword damage affected by the amount of attribute points I put into stamina. And should I do it if I really like magic? Much on this page is wrong or out of date. What follows below I'd normally put on a wiki talk page and is what I've discovered by poking around with ESO on the PS4 and trying different things.
I suspect that any stat within the game that isn't a percentage may be displayed or scaled differently on the PS4 to the PC, this is because many of the statistics on this site are different to what I see on the PS4. Bonuses:Some bonuses are constants that are added to existing scores, others are coefficients which act as multipliers to existing scores. Attributes:Maximum Magicka and Stamina both start at at level 1.
Maximum Health starts at Magicka and Stamina increase by each time an attribute point is earned, and increase by an additional when an attribute point is spent directly on them. Common sources of constant bonus to Maximum attributes are from set bonuses, amour enchantments and jewellery traits. Skills provide the only coefficient modifier.
